Watch Willie Obiano disgrace Anambra people as he could not even name 3 crops cultivated in Anambra state. And as the memory loss gets worse and embarrassing he suddenly switches to Igbo language for safe landing forgetting that it was an NLC debate and the members there were comprised of many NON IGBOS listening to him,...WATCH HIM BELOW , SEEING AND HEARING IS BELIEVING..Many of you rooting for him were laughing at Texas Governor RICK PERRY so what is the difference and mind you Rick Perry is in his 65 and Obiano is still 50 something or less.
This was the Third Governorship Debate held today in Awka, By tha National Labour Congresss (NLC), Which featured candidates from APC, APGA, Labour Party(LP) and PDP, Started with speeches from the aspirants, the high point of the debate was when The APGA candidate Willie Obiano, as usual couldn’t defend, his speech either as a result of unpreparedness or because of serious tension, he couldn’t name 3 Agricultural products that are Produced in Anambra while he was talking on his plans to reform the agricultural centre, he practically represented another version of the renowned OGA AT THE TOP, vote wisely.

ReplyDeleteThis is the first time that I have viewed this U-tube video recorded of the APGA gubernatorial candidate, Willie Obiano, making a live pitch before an audience. Is this video real? Where and when was it recorded?
What I see and hear come across as very inarticulate. There is a possibility that the interview, to which I had initially reacted below, could have been a written one. If so, the purported responses by Mr. Obiano could have been written by someone else other than the candidate himself.
From my perspective, the APGA gubernatorial candidate is largely a dark horse until recently. The public has not had much opportunity to hear him live. Beside the interview posted below, the candidate has always been projected by some other persons beside his very own self. Well, Anambra needs someone who can speak for all of us as he stands on his own two feet. That is exactly why this U-Tube video clip below is particularly disturbing to me. One must be able to communicate clearly and persuasively in order to be able to lead effectively.
May those who know Mr. Obiano close-up shine more light on this matter. If additional clarification is not forthcoming, one could come to the conclusion that this video snippet is indicative of the true comportment of someone who might end up becoming the chief executive of Anambra state come March 2014.

Since we are talking about continuity, why didn't Peter Obi offer Willie a political appointment in his administration so as to get some public service experience? Tinubu did same with Fashola; Chimaroke Nnamani did same with Sullivan Chime. Why does Willie Obiano have to learn on the job? He has the thinnest public service resume when matched up with folks like Soludo, Obaze, Ekwunife and Odenigbo.
ReplyDeleteIt's also important to remember that Fidelity Bank market cap is less than N80bn and he did not make the final management decision as an ED. On the other hand, Anambra runs a budget of over N100bn annually with a GDP of $10bn. Is this not going to be too much for Obiano to handle? Are we looking to have another 4 years lost on entrenched political/business interests from Peter Obi and Victor Umeh?
