CHANNELS TV & AIT invited Willie for a debate but Willie Obiano is running scared and chickened out, the reason being that "MY OGA AT THE TOP PETER OBI says no more ! when the information leaked that the same people that exposed Obafiaye Shem in Oga at the top were going to be the moderators. Well Unwilling Willy Obiano finally listened to Liliacfire's advice to stay away from debates. After several embarrassing performances in Tampa, Florida, and caught with "expo" the last one , and the most recent NLC debate where piece of paper was not allowed he could not name 3 agricultural produce in Anambra state. He kept calling rice and beans to the embarrassment of NLC members and then he clinically switched to Ibo language in an English debate. We now believe that his Principal Peter Obi is irked by his poor shows and decided to withdraw from all forth coming debates. This tells you and I that the unwilling Willy cannot be a man of his own and will be remotely controlled by Peter Obi , thus a third term agenda we have all been talking about . Here is the reason why he backed out .
Why I didn’t attend Channels TV Debate —Obiano
The APGA gubernatorial candidate in the coming November 16 governorship election in Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, has explained his absence from the last lap of the gubernatorial debates organised today in Awka by Channels Television in collaboration with the League of Anambra Professionals (LAP).
In a carefully worded letter to the General Manager of the station, Mr. Kayode Akintemi, dated Friday, November 8, 2013, Chief Obiano expressed his deepest regrets for his inability to participate in the programme.
In the letter signed by the Head, Media & Communication, Willie Obiano Campaign Organisation, James Eze, the APGA flag-bearer said his absence was necessitated by the fact that he had “a pre-arranged commitment with a critical segment of Anambrarians outside of the Awka Capital Territory that will be taking place at the same time.”
Explaining further, Chief Obiano assured the station that he would be “available for any other engagement you might come up with before and after the election on November 16, 2013.”
